You can also complete the application online by using the following link. Keep in mind when doing this, that most concealed handgun classes (including this class) supplies the needed forms when attending your proficiency class. If you apply online, you must have the paper work that will be sent to you by the Texas Department of Public Safety, and are not eligible to use the application supplied when attending the class.
Either way will work, the only draw back is that getting your application from the DPS will take you a few weeks to receive as they stay swamped with applicants.

The following is a copy of the 30.06 sign as required by state law for businesses wishing to prevent holders of a concealed handgun license from entering the premises of their business while carrying a concealed firearm.
There are two ways you can file for a duplicate Concealed Handgun License through the Texas Department of Public Safety. The first way is by printing their change of address form and mailing it in with the fee. That form is available below for download. The other option is to complete the online change of license information form and pay the fees via credit card. The link to change your license information online can be found at the bottom of the page.
The following form is for those individuals who have lost or otherwise need a replacement Concealed Handgun License, and for those who need to amend their license due to a name change or change of address and wish to do this via postal mail.
Your license can also be modified online through the Texas DPS website at the url below. In order to login you are required to have a Personal Identification Number (PIN). All PIN’s are assigned by the Texas Department of Public Safety. If you have forgotten, misplaced or never received your PIN, please contact TxDPS via email (chl@txdps.state.tx.us) and include the following information: Texas concealed handgun license number, driver license number, full name and date of birth. Your PIN will be returned in a timely fashion to the same email address submitting the request and in the order your request was received.
